The UAV Detection and Countermeasure System, also known as a UAV monitoring, early warning, and control system, is designed to detect, track, and neutralize unauthorized unmanned aerial vehicles in real time. The system operates by monitoring the image transmission and remote control signals of drones. Once an unknown UAV or its controller enters the protected area, the system triggers an alarm to alert the operator, who can then choose to activate countermeasures such as signal jamming to force the drone to land or return to its origin.

1. All-Weather Detection Capability  

   The system is equipped with professional drone detection software capable of identifying consumer-grade UAV models by analyzing their signal characteristics. It performs real-time signal acquisition and supports evidence playback with a 200MHz broadband capture capability. It effectively filters out WiFi interference and integrates GPS/Beidou receivers for precise mapping, allowing electronic maps to display the locations of both the drone and its operator. The system operates continuously, day and night, and remains effective in adverse weather conditions including dense fog.

 

2. Long-Range and Wide-Area Coverage  

   A single unit can detect drones within a radius exceeding 10 kilometers, depending on the UAV’s transmission power and terrain. It offers 360° omnidirectional coverage and is capable of detecting both image transmission and remote control signals, even when obscured by buildings or foliage. The system supports flexible expansion and can be deployed in mobile configurations at vehicle speeds of up to 40 km/h, with no blind spots in close-range detection.

 

3. High Precision and Broad Frequency Support  

   The system simultaneously tracks drones and their operators with a directional accuracy of approximately 1.5°. It operates across a frequency range from 2.4GHz to 6GHz and can monitor multiple bands concurrently, including the commonly used 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz frequencies. The detection platform is highly adaptable, allowing for expansion up to 16U processing capacity to support additional frequency bands as needed. With a 40MHz acquisition bandwidth, it enables real-time spectrum analysis and monitoring of frequency-hopping signals, facilitating rapid detection and early warning from the moment a remote control is activated.

 

4. Passive Operation and Low Power Consumption  

   Operating without emitting signals, the system remains undetectable and does not interfere with other electronic devices. Its passive design ensures no radiation exposure, making it safe for long-term human presence. Power consumption is under 100W per hour, and the system can be supplemented with external batteries for extended field operations.

 

5. High Scalability and Integration  

   The system is designed for future expansion in several ways:  

   - Frequency Expansion: New UAV control bands can be integrated through software upgrades.  

   - Signal Database Updates: The system’s UAV identification database can be updated to include new drone models and brands.  

   - Multi-System Integration: It can be integrated with radar, electro-optical tracking, and jamming systems to enhance tracking accuracy and enable precise countermeasures.  

   - Networked Deployment: Multiple units can be networked to form a wide-area detection grid, establish a dedicated command center, and maintain whitelist/blacklist management for authorized and unauthorized UAVs.
