Tracking Ground Surveillance Radar Sensor
Ground Surveillance Radar U 216-1S / S band
The U216-1S operates in the S-band and employs advanced digital active phased array system technology. Through modular, precision design and integrated use of adaptive moving target detection, digital T/R (transmit/receive), DBF (digital beamforming), and analog-to-digital integration design, this radar delivers stable detection performance, high precision, and cost-effectiveness. It serves as an excellent ground moving target detection radar, capable of monitoring key surveillance areas for ground moving targets, providing vigilance and position indication, and delivering real-time, accurate, and continuous target information to monitoring systems.
Technical Highlights
- All-digital active phased array technology system with receiving and transmitting DBF technology
- Digital T/R technology and highly integrated RF and digital integration design
- Adaptive moving target detection and Doppler clutter suppression
- Stabilization tracking technology for ground moving targets
Features
Advanced Technology
The U216-1S radar employs a phased array system with one-dimensional phase sweep, performing electrical scanning in azimuth for flexible, fast beam pointing and rapid scanning without inertia. It can conduct non-uniform detection, applying different detection schemes for various regions to enhance overall detection performance. The software radar design based on the full digital phased array system offers strong expandability and online upgrade capability.
Excellent Ground Moving Target Detection
With its Doppler filtering system designed on the phased array platform, the U216-1S completely eliminates clutter spectrum diffusion caused by radar antenna scanning modulation. It supports online configuration for extended periods and provides superior clutter suppression capability, making it ideal for detecting and tracking low-speed moving targets in strong clutter environments.
High Reliability
The U216-1S radar requires no mechanical rotating equipment, eliminating operational disruptions due to mechanical and electrical failures, resulting in higher reliability. Compared to parabolic radar with single channels, the phased array radar operates with multiple parallel channels, maintaining normal functionality even if some channels fail, thereby enhancing mission reliability.
Simple Installation & Operation
Featuring modular design and simple structure, the U216-1S is easy to install with no rotating joints, adaptable to various installation conditions. The radar array interface is straightforward, including only a power interface and network interface for simple, convenient wiring. The radar outputs target position and feature information displayed in the supporting terminal software, which is user-friendly and easy to learn.
